Cathy A. Heard (December 12, 1961 - June 23, 2024)

Cathy A. Heard, age 62, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Lonnie Heard and Helen Heard Bell (nee Calloway).

Cathy will be remembered lovingly by her surviving family: her mother, Helen Heard Bell; son, Gregory Heard; grandson, Konnor Whitehead; sisters: Terrill Heard, Cassandra Heard, Melba Edmondson, Prisca Heard, and Lorna Cottingham; brothers: Stephen Cottingham, James (Erika) Cottingham, Orlando Calloway, Lionel (Shelly) Heard, and Herbert Heard; as well as a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Heard; daughter, Venecia Heard; step-father, J.B. Bell; and brother, Rodney Calloway. Grandparents, Katherine and Edward Calloway.

Cathy found joy in playing video games on her phone, dancing, partying with friends and watching the Cincinnati Bengals play. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family.  Cathy was sassy, and at times she was quick to cuss you out, and also had no problem speaking her mind.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday July 6th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane in Cincinnati. Prior to the ceremony there will be a visitation period from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
