Chanelle Kennedy

Chanelle Marie Kennedy, was born Michelle Renee Kennedy on February 18, 1995. The Lord called her home on March 18, 2012. Chanelle was born with bad kidneys and at the age of 5 she suffered renal failure. She battled through dialysis for years, until a kidney transplant on March 27, 2002. Unfortunately he body began to reject the kidney. Chanelle continued to battle through dialysis, she never complained. She kept her ambition despite her condition. Chanelle aspired to be a nurse, not just any type of nurse but a nephrology nurse. She did not attend public school but, home school allowed her to focus so she could help other young people feel comfortable with their situations.

Chanelle was preceded in death by her, great-grandmother's John Ella Kennedy and Benice Burkett; great-grandfather, Jack Kennedy; aunt, Brenda Abernathy; uncles, Jack Kennedy and Tyrone Rodgers. Chanelle is survived by her mother, Michelle Kennedy; her grandmother who raised her, Cindy Kennedy; grandfather, Michael Rodgers; three aunts, Gerline Rodgers, Pauline Rodgers, and Jessica Rodgers; three uncles, Michael Rodgers II, Victor (Kasey) Kennedy, and Terrell Kennedy; two brothers, Tyrone "T-Man" Kennedy, and Terrace "Fats" Kennedy; two sisters, Kaneisha "Booms" Kennedy, and Lil Cindy Kennedy; three great-aunts, Laura Linsey, Lauren Hattach, and Marcia McCants; three great-uncles, Larry (Sheila) Kennedy, Philip (Dolly) Kennedy, and Mark (Audrey) Kennedy; one great-great aunt, Mona Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
