TEBELMAN, Charles Edward, age 91, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died peacefully Monday, August 3, 2015 at Burlington House on Springdale Road. Charles was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 2, 1923 to Carl and Gladys Tebelman. He graduated from Withrow High School and lived the majority of his life in the Cincinnati area. Mr. Tebelman served in the United States Army during World War II and spent 14 months in Europe.

Charles worked many years in the jewelry business and spent his last employment years at Newstedt - Loring & Andrews in Hyde Park prior to his retirement. He enjoyed many interests including travel, opera and the theater. His greatest interest, however, was his work with miniatures. He was a member of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts (NAME) and was widely recognized for his talent, skills and artistry. Charles and his long-time companion, Jack Kuresman, had a beautiful and well known collection of miniatures and were both honored as Masters for their work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Gladys Tebelman; brother, Ken Tebelman; and companion, Jack Kuresman. Charles is survived by the children of his brother, Ken Tebelman: David Tebelman, Kendra Handlon, Kenneth "Chip" Tebelman, and Teri Tebelman.

At his request no service will be held. Graveside services will be private. A celebration of Charles' life will be held in the near future. If desired, Memorial Contributions can be made to your charity of choice.
