Charles E. Freeman

Freeman, Charles E. "Charlie" age 81, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was born in Legget, Kentucky on August 18, 1937 to Vass Lee and Flora Mae Freeman (nee Gibson).

He was preceded in death by his father, Vass Lee Freeman; mother, Flora Mae Freeman; and siblings, Claude, Loverna, Beatrice, Gene, Lizzie, Bobby, and Rodney. Charlie is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Catherine Freeman (nee West Marcum); children, Charles W. (Ruby Stimetz) Freeman, Sherian (Ron) Terry, Melissa (Larry) Gill, Mary Alice Freeman, and James Daryl (Nancy) Freeman; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Harry, Jerry, Kyla, and Barbara; niece, Carol Birch; great-niece, Lisa Jones; and a host of other family members and friends.

Charlie loved bowling, fishing, and road trips any day of the week. He enjoyed frequent trips to Gatlinburg, TN and Harlan, KY to visit family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Funeral Ceremony will be at 12:00 pm followed by burial at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4251 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45232.
