Hay, Charles Roland age 89, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. He was born in Carlisle, Kentucky on August 24, 1931 to the late Charles N. and Gladys A. Hay (nee Sellers).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Bill Hay, a daughter, Pamela Herrod and an infant son, Kenneth Wayne Hay. Roland is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Laverne Hay (nee Brooks); children, Deborah (Allen) Couch, Karen Furnish, David (Patty) Elliott, Robin Dryden, and Michele (Tim) Blackstone; several grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Jan Dershimer; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Roland, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass at www.bgcarenav.org/give. Visitation will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm followed by a service at 4:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
