Charles Komark

Charles Komark, age 90, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed on Sunday, December 11, 2016. His wife was the late Hazel (nee Bailey) Komark. His "Best Friend Forever" Nannette Rose (Nan) was always by his side, holding his hand until the very end.


Chuck was a fine carpenter having built a few houses. He was also very fond of cars, a hobby he shared with his nephew, Dale Thomas.


Nieces and nephews remember him for snowball fights and grand stories of his adventures while traveling across the United States.


He was predeceased by his brother John Komark, and his sisters, Jeanette (nee Komark) Thomas, and Anna Marie (nee Komark) Rutherford. He is fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.


Hazel's family will miss him. There is one stepson, Larry Mattingly, Sr., and his three children, Larry Mattingly, Jr., Tabatha Saxton, and Jonathan Mattingly. There are also 14 step great-grandchildren.


Donations may be made to the Terrace View Gardens nursing home activities director to benefit the residents who live there.
