Charles Leon Myers

Charles Leon Myers was born on February 15, 1937 in Harriman, Tennessee to Wilmer and Athea Myers. He was the youngest of twelve children.
Charles lived his life as a Christian, following in the Lord's footsteps. He was a strong, yet caring and devoted friend. He often sacrificed himself to give to others. He set a remarkable example for all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed by many but the love we have for him will live on.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Myers; seven sisters,Blanche Wilkerson, Myrthe Gallaher, Eleanor Willis, Mabel Wilkerson, Jessie Moore, Maddie Myers, and Ceciel Myers; three brothers, Willard Myers, Clearance Myers and Holmer Myers; and one son, Christopher E. Myers.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one sister, Georgie Tarter; six children, Vanessa Marie Myers, Bonnie Jo Myers, Charles Leon Myers, Jr.Edward Allen Myers, Shantay Danelle Myers, Sherry Deneen Myers and Christopher Edward Myers (deceased); 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.
Charles "Pete" will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation for Charles Leon Myers, age 75 of Cincinnati, will be from 10 AM till Noon on Friday, February 1, 2013. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hills Cemtery.
