Charles Van De Ryt

Charles "Chuck" Van De Ryt age 81, of Harrison, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 16, 1942 to the late Richard and Helen Van De Ryt (nee Boerger).

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patti Van De Ryt, his son, Richard "Rick" Van De Ryt, his brother, Ronald A. Van De Ryt, and his sister-in-law, Peggy Weberding.

Charles is survived by his son, Timothy (wife, Victoria) Van De Ryt, his grandchildren, Michael T. Van De Ryt, Ryan W. Van De Ryt, Nicholas C. Van De Ryt, Emily R. Van De Ryt, Jacob R. Van De Ryt, and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Gayle Van De Ryt, and her children, Dian, Sue, Juli, Joan, Alisa, and Joe; his brother-in-law, Ron Weberding, and his children; his nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.

Chuck was a graduate of Elder High School. He greatly enjoyed golfing, cars, and spending time in Florida. Loved his dog, Allie dearly. Most of all loved his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 4, 2023 with a visitation from 9:30 am - 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 25 East Harrison Ave, North Bend, Ohio 45052. Following Mass, burial will be at New St. Joseph Cemetery, 4500 Foley Rd., Cincinnati, OH

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242 or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 4370 Glendale-Milford Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45242.
