Christopher Thomas Bedell was born August 6,1979 to Pamela Harlan and Rick Bedell Sr. in Cincinnati Ohio. He was only 4 lbs. and 13 oz., yet he grew into the gentle giant his friends and family have known him to be throughout the years.
Chris was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on June 15,1998. He loved working in the ministry beside all of his loving brothers and sisters. In 1998, Chris also graduated from Wayne High School, located in Huber Heights in Dayton Ohio. He later got his associates degree in Criminal Justice from Kaplan College.
He married the love of his life, Twanya Bedell (Smith) on December 14, 2002. For 21 years, they never stopped dating or loving each other to the moon and back. Chris was such a loving and kind person and an even better husband. He loved to fish, bowl, laugh and joke at any opportunity. He enjoyed playing dominoes, video games, putt-putt golf, skiing and disc golf with his family. He was an avid comic book, cards, figurines, visors, watches, and movie collector. He loved to travel and take long road trips as well. Chris was a protector who always looked for ways to help others. He was truly a superhero.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Twanya Bedell, who will miss him desperately; his mother, Pamela Harlan (Larry); his father, Rick Bedell, Sr. (Michelle); his parents-in-law, Maurice and Betty Smith; his grandmother, Shirley Mayberry; his brother, Rick Bedell, Jr.; his bonus siblings, Danell Harlan (Saquorya “little big sis”); Da’mica Harlan; Deonte Harlan; Lynn Harlan; Mila Graham; his sisters in law, Tauisha Stinson (Tony); Alonda Smith; Evette Sims (Erston); his cherished nieces, Elysha Castleberry (Maresa); Ricquel Bedell; Ebonie Bedell; Tyvonna Stinson; and a host of other family members, friends, and spiritual brothers and sisters.
