Clara C. Reed

Clara Christine Reed, affectionately known as "Mommy" was born March 20, 1950 in Camden, New Jersey, to Ethel and Issac Ware Sr.

On November 27, 2014 our beloved "Mommy" slipped into a peaceful sleep to join her parents; brother, Issac Ware Jr.; sister, Carla Ware; daughter, Ethel "Tink" Ware; and grandsons, Nathaniel and Nyaire Brown.

Christine attended the Camden City Public School System, and shortly after went on to Culinary School. Mommy had a personality of her own, and it could not be duplicated.

Christine was known for "keeping it real" and telling it like it is. She was very opinionated and strong-willed. She opened up her heart and her home to many, thus giving her the name "Mommy".

Christine could get down in the kitchen. She loved to bake and make elaborate dinners. Her family couldn't wait until Sunday, as they were guaranteed a mouth watering meal. Christine will be greatly missed, for she was, and still is truly loved. She leaves to cherish her memories, brothers, Nelson (Marcia) Wagner, and Gary Ware; sister, Vera (Donald) Patterson; children, Tyanne (Jason) Dowdy, and Kisha Reed; grandchildren, Jamahl Ware, Rhonda Ware, Daiza Gordon, and Dyamond Dowdy; one great-grandson, Rylan Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
