Claude (Pee-Wee) Moore Jr. was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Claude Moore Sr. and Catherine Moore. Peewee had three brothers and one sister, Diane. Peewee's father, mother, three brothers; Freddie, Sonny and Eugene, and one son; Claude III all preceded him in death.
Claude attended school at St. Joseph, 6th District and Old Woodward, from there he went on to serve in the US Army (Armory, Co. C.1st Bn. 11th ARMD CAV. REGT.) He served from January 7th, 1954 – January 6th, 1956 and spent six years in the Army Reserve after receiving an Honorable Discharge.
Claude met and married Wilma Goodwin. They had five sons.
He also tried out for the Cincinnati Reds, but was not accepted because of his age. He was before his time. However, Claude did play Semi-Pro Baseball for The Negro League (Pittsburgh Pirates Athletics).
He leaves to mourn, nine sons, five daughters; Harrison (Jerry), Vison, Tilmon, Jarvis, La-Prelle, Marcus, Claudius, Clarence, Weldon, Carlos, Shawn, Sakinah, Dameneta and LaTasha. PeeWee had three cousins; Mary Welch, Moses Kelly and Jackie Anderson. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grand children, great grand children and a lot of friends.
