Cleo Wilzbach, age 92 of Cincinnati passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Mercy Mt. Airy – Vitas Hospice. She was born on March 31, 1920 the daughter of Robert and Mary (Hurst) Hunter.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen and her husband Denny Fields of Cincinnati; a son, Douglas Bailey and his wife Linda of Reading; two granddaughters, Denise and her husband Nate Gieske of Fairfield, and Nikki and her husband Kevin Betz of Indianapolis, Indiana; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Emily Gieske, and Dillon and Adam Betz; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sharon Lynn; six sisters, and one brother.
Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11:00 am with Byron Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Donations may be directed to, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY. 10004 or to the SPCA – Cincinnati, 3949 Colerain Avenue, Cincinnati, OH. 45223.
