Clinton Nicholas Fahey

November 24, 1992 — May 8, 2020

On May 8, 2020, Clinton Nicholas Fahey's valiant battle with cancer came to an end. He did not lose this fight, but rather, decided not to afford this beast any more of his earthly time. Clinton surrendered his spirit into the Hands of God. He will live in eternal peace, looking over, and protecting his beloved family from his heavenly domain.
Clinton was born on November 24, 1992 and lived his life predominantly in Buford, OH and then Cincinnati, Ohio, growing up in Buford, and the Cincinnati neighborhoods of Price Hill and Delhi. He attended Buford, Fayetteville-Perry and St. William elementary schools and Oak Hills High School. Clinton was the youngest of six children and undoubtedly got away with more mischief than his siblings. He loved his cars, trucks, action figures and pretending to be a rugged cowboy with his brother. He later played baseball and studied martial arts. When getting into mischief as a teen and young man, his partners in pranks and hilarity were usually his cousins, especially Joe and Kevin.
If you research the name Clinton, it is Irish, from the English form of McClinton. It's also a Celtic river name meaning 'bright stream'. Clinton embodied this brightness; he had a huge heart, always cheerful, loving and smiling. Moreover, he was named by his father, after Clint Eastwood, the actor, an iconic cowboy.
The important thing about Clinton is he matured into a strong, wise young man. His life was about learning, growing, accepting responsibility, and working towards his goals. His jobs in the restaurant business enabled him to serve others and be accountable. His employers would tell you he had a great work ethic and provided service with a smile. Undoubtedly, his greatest accomplishments were meeting and later marrying his best friend, Sarah, and becoming a father. He prided himself on providing for his daughter Natalie, whom he adored. He affectionately referred to her as his monkey or spawnling.
Clinton is preceded in death by his grandparents Dolores Fahey, Robert Fahey, and Thomas Pfaffinger. He is survived by his wife, Sarah, daughter, Natalie, parents John (stepmom Sue) Fahey, Susan Pfaffinger, and his siblings: Christine (Mike Wilkinson), Stephanie, Ashley, Kaitlyn, and John Jr. (Johnny). He's also survived by his grandmother, Bonnie Pfaffinger, and numerous aunts and uncles: Robert Fahey, Lisa Young, Dolores "Dodi" (Kenny) Ramsey, Kevin (Sonia) Fahey, Kathy (Rob) Cain, Tom (Sandy) Pfaffinger, Bruce Pfaffinger, Ted Pfaffinger, Anita (Jerry) Pfaffinger-Bunner, Carol (Chris) Juniet. He leaves behind numerous nieces, (Ashauna, Aaliyah, Hailey, Abbey, Raina, Emily, Cali), nephews, (Christian, Matthew, Keshaun, Treyvon, Nathan, Devon), and a multitude of beloved cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020, at Newcomer West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Ln., Cincinnati, OH, 45211, followed by cremation. Due to current restrictions, visitation is limited and by invitation only. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held for all family and friends at a later date, to be determined.
