Connie Piening

Connie Piening, age 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025. She was born in Wilmington, Ohio, on April 4, 1947, to Floyd and Barbara Morris (nee Nichols).

Connie is preceded in death by her loving parents, Floyd and Barbara Morris, as well as her dear brothers-in-law, James Piening, Albert Piening, Jr., and Thomas Piening. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Dennis Piening; their sons, Darryl (Terri) Piening and Matt (Amy) Piening; her sister, Rita (John) Hall; her brother, Bud (the late Carol) Morris; her siblings, Gary (Peggy), Roland (Cindy) Morris, and Mark Morris; her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Brett, and Brittany Piening; along with a host of extended family members and friends.

Connie's life was filled with love and devotion to her family and friends. She took great joy in spending time with her loved ones and caring for her brother, Mark. Known for her warm heart and generosity, Connie was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. A skilled cook, she adapted her meals to ensure they were enjoyable for Dennis, delighting in the kitchen and sharing her culinary talents, serving her famous meat water.

She cherished her trips to Wilmington to visit her cousins and created many beautiful memories with her family. Connie lived a simple life, rich with love and laughter, leaving an enduring impression on all who knew her.

In loving memory of Connie, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. A Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Friday, February 7, 2025, with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Grace Communion Cincinnati West, 5000 N. Bend Road, Cincinnati, OH 45211. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45232.

A reception will be held at 3004 Glenmore Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio room 103 following the graveside service.
