Consuelo Santoya Quintero 70, passed away at 7:20 pm on May 6, 2012 after a short battle with lung cancer. Her husband and children were by her side when she departed to be with the lord.
She was born August 17, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas to Gabriella Roque. She graduated from San Antonio Tech High School in 1961. She worked as a directory assistant operator for 25 years at Indiana Bell (Ma Bell), hence then retired.
She was a member of the Iglesia Apostolica Hispana from Indianapolis to Cincinnati for thirty years. She was the pastor's wife with many positions from President of ladies auxiliary, super intendant, secretary, treasure, administrations, choir leader and mother of the church.
She lit up the room with her smile, laughter, and presence. She was survived by her husband of 51 years of marriage, Edward Quintero Sr., her 4 children Edward Quintero Jr. (Kim), Andrew Quintero, ReGina Crowe (Terence), and Dionne Owens (Jermale Sr.); 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
