Curtis Akins

Curtis passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Christ Hospital. He was born on October 31, 1954 in Chicago, Ill. to William Henderson and Lottie Akins.

Curtis is survived by his wife, Diane Akins of Cincinnati; daughter, Detra Evans; daughter, Pam Jones; son, Curtis Jones; son, Curtez Evans; son, Daniel Lee Evans; son, David Dion Evans; Cherished grandfather of nine greandchildren, five great grandchildren. Loving brother of Jeffrey, Christopher, Brenda, Lorain Akins and Venessa Henderson, Deborah Holmes, as well as, the Late Michael Akins and Dorothy Jackson. Curtis will be missed by a host of family and friends.

Memorial service for Curtis Akins, age 57 of Cincinnati, will be Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel. Rev. Rodney Christian will officiate. The family will gather with friends on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel.
