Cynthia Bonita LaFary, age 71, of Green Township, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. She was born in Jakarta, Indonesia on July 23, 1949 to Jankees and Meggie Van Sluys (nee Fens).
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin-sister, Teresa Perry; and brother-in-law, Brian LaFary.
Cynthia is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Dave LaFary; daughter, Pamela Holloway; granddaughters, Ginny Holloway, Mary Holloway, and Kate Holloway; step-son, Jason (Lisa) LaFary; brothers, Jeffery (Watts) Van Sluys, Henri Van Sluys, Jankees (Elise) Van Sluys, Jr.; sister, Carla Reese; brothers-in-law, Mark (Vicki) LaFary, Steve (Susan) LaFary, Tom (Rhonda) LaFary; sisters-in-law, Ann (Steve) Kesse, and Jill (Kevin) McWilliams; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Cynthia, contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
Family and friends may gather on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt Healthy. The funeral service and Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
