Damani Jontae Evans, infant, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the son of Walter Evans and Andrea Petty.
He is survived by his parents, Walter Evans and Andrea Petty, both of Cincinnati; paternal great-grandmother, Juanita Whitfield of Cincinnati; paternal grandmother, Linda Harrow of Cincinnati; maternal grandmother, Pamela Foy of Sidney, Ohio; maternal grandfather, Carl Petty Jr. of Lima, Ohio; two brothers, Walter A. Evans of West Virginia and DaeQuan Evans of Orlando, Florida; two sisters, Denisha and Denayjia Moore, both of Orlando, Florida; and two aunts, Veronica Franklin of Cincinnati and Angela White of Sidney, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Harrow; two maternal great-grandfathers, Carl Petty Sr. and Edgar White; and his maternal great-grandmother, Christine White.
Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Minister Erica White of Mount Zion Bread of Heaven officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of service.
