Daniel Zaeger Graves, 92, of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at his home. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 14, 1929 to the late William Cletus and Margaret Graves (nee Sullivan).
Mr. Graves served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He was the Chief Lending Officer and Senior Vice President of PNC Bank formerly Central Trust. Daniel was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother and Friend who would always tell people "Keep smiling, it confuses the enemy."
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Lou Brown-Graves. He is survived by his loving family including his daughter, Dawn Lynn Graves; three grandchildren, Dana Marie Garcia, Deanna Keri (Brian) Payne and Denae Nancy Olivia (Eric Scott) Garcia; one Great-Grandson, Cayson Matthew Payne; one brother, Newton Abbot Graves as well as a host of other extended family members and friends who will hold his memory close. They will always think of him when they hear "When the going gets tough, the tough get going."
There will be a private graveside gathering for the immediate family. Entombment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Kentucky.
