Daniel Curtis Lewis

Daniel Curtis Lewis, age 79, of Harrison, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born in Newport, Kentucky on December 4, 1943 to Charles R and Eunice Lewis (nee Couch) and raised by Oma "Big Mommy" Couch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Juanita "June" Lewis (nee McClellan), son, John Lewis and his brother, Vic Lewis.
Daniel is survived by his sons, Nick (Dianna) Lewis, Joe (Nicki) Lewis, Greg (Regina) Lewis, Mike (Bernadette) Lewis and his daughter in law Gloria Lewis. Dan treated Renee Lewis Brungs as one of his daughters. Dan is the papaw of Hollie, Jonathan, Parker, Jeffery, Brittany, Jessica, Bryan, CJ, Rachel, Wesley, Emily, Gregory, Tashia, Bryan, and Danny. He is the great papaw of 13.
He was a devoted husband and family man. A hard worker. A great story teller and jokester. A man of few words. . . but full of wisdom. He loved billiards when younger and wasn't afraid to wager. He loved his late dog, Smokey. Danny was loved by his many friends from the Club Embassy.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 8 AM until the service at 9 AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery
