Poos, Daniel William age 58, of Independence, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Dayton, Kentucky on January 14, 1960 to Edward and Jean Poos (nee Halpin).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Jean Poos; sister, Marilynn Bertram. Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Valerie J. Poos (nee Lewis); Son, Eric (Doug Wash) Poos, siblings, Janet (Dave) Day, Nancy (Bill) Eggemeier, Brother David Poos, Kathy Poos, Tom (Darletta) Poos, Carol Poos; mother-in-law, Janet Lewis, father-in-law, Fred Lewis, brothers-in-law, Matt (Angela) Lewis, David (Julie) Lewis; sixteen nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Dan, contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm with Funeral Ceremony to follow on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
