Daniel Joseph Ziegelmeyer, Sr., 75, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth.
He was born in Covington, Kentucky on March 13, 1944 to the late Norman and Helen Ziegelmeyer (nee Plunkett).
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother Edward Ziegelmeyer.
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife Mary Ann Ziegelmeyer; four children Kimberly Ann (Dennis) Carmack, Michelle Ziegelmeyer, Gretchen (Dennis) Cruise and Daniel Joseph (Amy) Ziegelmeyer, Jr.; three brothers Norman William Ziegelmeyer Jr. , Kenneth Ziegelmeyer and Richard Ziegelmeyer. Norman Jr. is also known by the nicknames Bill and William; thirteen grandchildren, Suzanne (Frank) LaBroad, Daniel Joseph (Stephanie) Ziegelmeyer, III, Megan (Kaleb) Saylor, Stephanie Dunaway, Jake Ziegelmeyer, Andrea Carmack, Benjamin Ziegelmeyer, Sean Cruise, Isabella Cruise, Sarah Cruise, Angel Carmack, Isabella Carmack, and Daniel Carmack; two great-grandchildren, Addison Saylor, and Parker Saylor as well as a host of other extended family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.
Burial will take place at 2 pm on December 23, 2019 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, Kentucky, 41097
