Darryl Smith

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Darryl Smith, age 59, of Erlanger, Kentucky, who departed this life on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Born in Covington, Kentucky on October 4, 1965, Darryl was a cherished member of his community.

Darryl had a deep passion for working on older power cars and had a special affection for large dogs. He was known for his kind spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as several brothers and sisters. Darryl leaves behind his beloved son, Braeden Smith, along with his brothers, Peter (Phyllis) Smith and Hugh (Gina) Smith, his sister, Irene (Randy) Coates, and a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor, with details to be announced at a later date.
