David Dallas Render, II made his transition on April 30, 2012. He was born on July 16, 1938 in LaGrange, Georgia to the late David Dallas Render, Sr. and Emma Willie (Byrd). He married the late Geneva Render on November 25, 1966.
David attended Catholic schools and graduated from DePorres Catholic High School in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a math whiz. He was a sheet metal fabricator and was an excellent welder and blue print reader. He retired from Kirk and Blum Manufacturing Company.
He enjoyed going fishing with his friends and family and raising large Oscars and angel fish in 100 gallon aquariums. David liked to do home repairs, plant flowers and build model ships. Most people knew that his best friend was named Jack and they hung out often in the evening and on the weekends.
David would give everyone a nickname. If you spent time with him, David would bestow you a special nickname. David was a giver and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
David was preceded in death by his mother, father, wife and daughter, Paula Vonner. He leaves to cherish his memory, one brother: Darryl Render; one sister-in-law: Bernice Jackson; five daughters, Sheila (Anttarch) Brandy, Avis Veasley, Regina Render, Selena Miller and April Miller; and four sons: Timothy (Nancy)Shoulders, Tyrone Miller, Christopher (Jennifer) Wright and David Dallas Render III. He had numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends and neighbors.
He leaves fond memories with his close friends: Joe Stripling, Curtis and Cheryl Denton, and Johnny Hill.
