David W. Lacey, age 82, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 15, 1939, the son of Grover Cleveland Lacey and Mary Lacey (nee Carr).
He was preceded in death by his mother, his father, his wife, Carolyn Washum Lacey and his grandson, Chris.
David is the father of Mark (RuthAnn) Lacey, Brenda (Ian) Culp, Michael Lacey, Daryle (Tommy) Lacey, Kevin Lacey and Hannah DeVore.
He is the grandfather of Britney, Rebecca, Jessica, Amber, Jace, Brittany, Brandon, Emily, Devin, Austin, Grayson, Elizabeth, Kevin, Matthew, Hunter and Sophia. David is the great grandfather of Oshen, Willow, Damon, Dalila and Dallas.
David is the brother of Sheila Harvill. He is the uncle of David "Little Dave" Lacey.
He was a member of McMillan Masonic Lodge No. 141. David was a quiet and modest man who was loved by all. He enjoyed collecting old coins and warplane memorabilia. Loved to watch those old TV shows - Andy Griffith, M*A*S*H and the Three Stooges.
Visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Side Chapel, Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 8:30 AM until the funeral service at 10:30 AM. After the service, burial will take place in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
