David Wesley Mcnay

David Wesley McNay, age 66 of Covington, Kentucky passed away on May 4, 2019 at the Hospice Center in Edgewood, Kentucky.

Born on June 10, 1952 in Covington, Kentucky, son of Wilfred and Ruby McNay.

Dave was a skilled Carpenter, talented artist and musician. A member of the Dukes motorcycle club, loved to go hunting and fishing with his brother and father and in his later days he enjoyed sitting on his front porch with his best friend (dog) Morticia to feed the squirrels and talk with neighbors. Occasionally he would plug in the amplifier and play music on his guitar. He would also use his carpentry skills to take care of neighbors and family that needed anything in their house fixed, his true joy came from helping others.

Preceded in death by his father, Wilfred McNay and survived by his mother Ruby McNay, children Beth Palmer and Jessica Gemmer, 5 grandchildren, brother Tim (Cherie) McNay, sister Brenda Allgeyer and Sandra (Mahlon) Kieffer, 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

Visitation will be on Wednesday May 8, 2019 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions. A Memorial Service will be held at 7pm. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.NewcomerCincinnati.com
