David William Palmer

David William Palmer, age 83, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Born on July 1, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the beloved son of William and Georgia Palmer (nee Shafer).

David is now reunited in peace with his father, William Palmer; his mother, Georgia Palmer; his wife, Glenateen Palmer; and his siblings, Shirley, Pat, Mike, Sandy, and Johnny. He is survived by his devoted son, Brian G. Palmer; his daughters, Karen K. Palmer and Vickie L. Palmer; his cherished grandchildren, Brittany Palmer and Kelly Palmer; as well as a host of other family members and friends who will fondly remember him.

A proud U.S. Marine veteran, David had a zest for life that was reflected in his passions for hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed sharing stories and laughter with his close friends. Additionally, he was proud to be a part of a musical Doo Wop group, where he brought joy to many through his love of music.

In honor of David's wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family.
