Davon Lamont Mullins, also known as Head, was born on June 6, 1995 to his loving mother, Leona Mullins, and devoted father, Charles Green, in Cincinnati, Ohio. God called Davon home on August 20, 2011 at the tender age of 16.
Though Davon's time on earth was short, he filled his parents' lives, as well as others in his presence, with happiness and joy. As a young child, Davon was shy and often clung to his mother seeking reassurance and comfort. However, as he blossomed into a young man he gained considerable confidence and came to the realization that he was a lady's man. In order to maintain this reputation, he made sure to spend many hours in front of the mirror working on, as well as admiring, his appearance.
Davon's academic experiences included the Ethel M. Taylor Academy, as well as William Taft High School where he was scheduled to begin the 10th grade. Due to being a dedicated student, obtaining good grades was not difficult for Davon. Matter of fact, excelling in academics came as easily to him as playing basketball, which was his primary hobby. Davon's additional sources of enjoyment were going to the movies and spending time with family and friends. To sum up Davon's attributes, he was a lovable and caring young man that embraced life with a conviction that made others stand up and take notice.
Those remaining to cherish Davon's memory are his mother and father, Leona Mullins and Charles Green, step-father Donnie Mason, grandmother Lenetha Green Lee, two sisters and three brothers, Lequanna Mullins, Shama'tae Green, Charles Mullins, Jeremiah Green, and Charles Green Jr., and a host of aunts and uncles. Family members preceding Davon in death were his grandparents, Violet Duncan Ragster, Lee Mullins, and Charles Junebug Lee, great grandmother Alberta Mullins, and his aunt, Tasha Parks.
Davon will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.
