Deborah Lee Ward, passed away peacefully in Florence, Kentucky, on September 26, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on August 10, 1958, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Deborah will be remembered for her caring nature and the warmth she brought into the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Deborah’s journey through life was marked by her dedication to nurturing and educating young minds as a teacher's assistant. Her commitment to her students reflected her character: a very caring and kind person who always went above and beyond to support others. She had an innate ability to connect with children, making learning a joyful experience for them.
Outside her work, Deborah had many hobbies and interests that filled her life with joy. She was particularly fond of crafts, pouring her creativity into beautiful paintings that brightened the lives of her family and friends. Music was another passion of hers; she found solace and inspiration in tunes that complemented her vibrant spirit and lively personality.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Michael Ward, with whom she shared countless cherished memories. She is also survived by her sister, Darcie L. (Jeff) Osborne-Card, and her brother, Frank Osborne, Jr. Alongside her immediate family, Deborah leaves behind a host of other family members and friends, each of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
Though she rejoins her beloved parents, Frank and Gloria Osborne, who have preceded her in death, Deborah's legacy of love, creativity, and kindness will undoubtedly live on through those whose lives she touched. She was a gentle light in this world, and her spirit will continue to inspire us all to be kinder, more gracious, and more connected with one another.
