Decena Rae (Torbeck) Zepeda, age 48, of Springfield Twp, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 1, 1972 to Dan and Tari Torbeck (nee Miracle).
Decena grew up in St. Bernard and graduated from St. Bernard High School in 1990. She was active and enjoyed spending time outdoors, participating in activities such as boating, swimming, and skiing. Decena enjoyed cooking and creating arts and crafts. Decena loved her son, who was the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and great grandparents.
Decena is survived by her beloved son, Miguel Agustin; mother, Tari Torbeck; father, Dan Torbeck; brothers, Michael (Carrie) Torbeck and Adam (Michelle) Torbeck; nieces and nephew Taylor, Joshua, Rylee and Mileena; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Decena, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Please send prayers to the family.
A Mass will be held at Saint Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011, on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 12:00PM. Family and friends may gather one hour prior at the church, from 11:00 to 12:00PM.
