Dennis P. Houston, age 81, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 31, 1941 to James Houston and Ida Houston (nee Kugele).
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary A. Houston; father, James Houston; and mother, Ida Houston. Dennis is survived by his children, Cheryl (Rick) Minges, James Houston and Dennis (Sally) Houston; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl "Sonny" (Theresa) Houston; and a host of other family members and friends.
Dennis loved going to the casino and playing slots. He was also a fan of Nascar. Dennis was very active at St. Bernard Catholic Church for many years, he attended every Saturday. Most of all he cherished his family, he loved spending time with all of his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 22, 2022 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Graveside prayers will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 701 E. Ross Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45217.
