Dennis Wayne Phillips

Dennis Wayne Phillips, aged 69, of Verona, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024. He was born on February 15, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Lloyd and Fayrine Phillips (nee Roy).

Dennis was known for his playful spirit, often aggravating those he cared about. His love for working at and attending auctions, alongside his passion for antiques, showcased his extensive knowledge in this area—from glassware to furniture. He also cherished moments spent fishing, collecting coins, and, most importantly, being with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. The pride he took in his service in the United States Navy was a significant part of his character. He dedicated 52 years to his beloved wife, Donna, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Phillips; his mother, Fayrine Phillips; and his siblings: Yvonne, John, Cathy, Renita, and Regina.

Dennis leaves behind his loving wife, Donna Phillips (nee DuChemin); his son, Jason Phillips; his daughters, Stephanie (Daniel) Keene, Jennifer (Kevin) Gordley, and Veronica (Aaron) Swackhammer; as well as 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Steven (Erin) Phillips; his sisters, Wanda (Philip) Chumley and Marie (Reggie) Woods; his uncle, Tommy Roy; and a multitude of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with visitation starting at 11:00 AM, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
