Dennis Staab, age 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 19, 1944 to Robert A and Margaret Staab (nee Laake).
He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, and his infant sister Margaret.
Dennis is survived by his beloved spouse, Sean Newman, his daughters, Kimberly (Mark) Fricke, Anna Marie (Brian) Campbell and Gretchen Staab. He is the grandfather of Ryan, Kyle, Morgan and Devon. Dennis is the brother of Robert (Susan) Staab, Jr., Jovita (Dale) Wik and Cynthia (Don) Burns.
Dennis is a decorated VietNam Air Force veteran. He is a 1999 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science (CCMS), having worked at Dovin Funeral Home in Lorain and Hill Funeral Home in Columbus.
Air Force decorations included an Air Force Commendation Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Air Force Good Conduct Medal.
Prior to becoming a funeral director and embalmer, he served as an MR/DD Medical Coordinator, a bartender and server at the Vernon Manor Hotel, a Ranger at Girl Scout Camp Butterworth, and a Queen City Metro driver.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Private Funeral Services are scheduled. Burial, with Military Honors will follow in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
