Derotha Miller age 96, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on August 17, 1925 to the late Robert and Carrie Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Larry Thomas Hines, and 11 siblings. Derotha is survived by her daughter, Caretha Phillips; grandchildren, Angela Espy, Maceo Powell, Marvin (Tracy) Espy, Ken Hines and Jason (Nicole) Hines; great-grandchildren, Janell Espy, Aaron Espy, Shamond Espy, Alexandria Espy, Taylor Harris, Emon Powell, Maceo Powell, Jr., Phoenix Powell, Sydney Espy, Zy'Air Peake, Jason Hines, Jr., Cameron Hines and Paxton Hines; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Derotha, contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association at alz.org. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a service to follow at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church at 1169 Simmons Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45215. Burial will take place immediately following at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
