Dianna Lynn Rice, age 54, went home to be embraced by the Lord, Friday, June 8, 2012. She was born December 1, 1957 in Massillon, Ohio and spent her adult life in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Rice; siblings, Edward Rice, James "Chief" Rice, Helen Parker, JoAnne Barnes, and Joyce Hardy.
Dianna leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Joyce Moxley; step-mother, Grace Rice; children, Tyrone M. Rice (Robin), and Turranna F. Rice (Clinton Merida); grandchildren, Anthony, Mariah, Jaylin and Quintin; siblings, William Rice, Jr. (Arbuna), Bettie King, Turranna Rice, James Wilkins, Stephen Wilkins (Greg), Rhonda Smiley (Rev. Smiley), Semmie Jean Flory, Dominique Miller, Paul Hardy (Deborah), Claire Staples, Angela Borden (Bishop Carnell); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends; and best friends, Barb Fitzwater and Patricia Turner.
She was a devoted worker at the Kroger Store in Woodlawn, and was known and loved by her customers as a free-spirited person and entertained them with her outrageous costumes, and her unique and decorative finger nails. Dianna enjoyed life by attending festivals, flea markets, spending time with her family and fishing. Wherever there is a lake in Heaven, we know she will be fishing. She enjoyed her hobbies of collecting stuffed monkeys, dolls, and taking pictures. She also spent much of her free time caring for her mother and her grandchildren.
Special thanks to Ms Melinda Edwards, friend and co-worker.
Dianna will always be in our hearts, memories, and greatly missed by every life she touched.
