Dianna Sue Munninghoff (nee Ehlman), passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, in Florence, Kentucky, surrounded by her beloved family after a period of declining health. Born on September 19, 1947, in Bellevue, Kentucky, Dianna lived a life defined by kindness and generosity, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Dianna exemplified what it meant to love fiercely. She cherished her family and time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As a devoted mother to her daughter, Kelly Morgan, Dianna inspired strength and warmth in her children, leading by example with unwavering support and encouragement. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Connor Morgan, Lauren (Michael) Haas, and Kyle Morgan, each of whom carry forward her spirit in their own unique ways. Dianna was also a proud great-grandmother to Frankie and Delilah Haas, whose laughter and joy brought her immense happiness.
Dianna possessed a passion for reading, particularly mysteries, which provided her with both escapism and enjoyment throughout her life. Those closest to her will remember her fondness for the color purple and her delight in savoring a crisp Coca-Cola. Her personality was marked by a nurturing disposition and a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly; grandchildren, Connor, Lauren (Michael), and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Frankie and Delilah; her sister, Pamela Durbin; and a host of other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Dianna was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Ehlman; her mother, Emma Katherine Ehlman (nee Bloomhoff); her brother, Gregory Ehlman; and her sister, Barbara Brewer. While they may have departed from this world, their memories and love remain woven into the tapestry of her life.
The impact Dianna had on those around her will resonate for years to come, as her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
