Dixie Bevins

Bevins, Dixie age 81, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018. She was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on October 7, 1936 to the late James and Hattie Norris.
Dixie is survived by sons, Carl (Karen) J. Bevins, John Carpenter, and William (Amber Fisher) G. Bevins; sisters, Martha Cochran and Louis Norris; grandsons, William Bevins Jr., Mikhial Bevins, and Jayden Bevins; granddaughters, Layla Annamae Fisher, Destiny Carpenter, Isabella Carpenter, and Lillian Carpenter; and a host of other family members and friends.
Dixie was a mother to all the kids in her neighborhood and was known as Momma D to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking for everyone. Momma D made sure no one left her home hungry.
In loving memory of Dixie, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation. Visitation will be Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 followed by a Celebration of life at 7:00 pm.
