Dominic James Julian made his entrance into this world, September 20, 2008, at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California to the delightment of his parents, James and Angelique Julian. Dominic's birth was celebrated by friends and family near and far.
At the tender age of 18 months, Dominic was diagnosed with a soft tissue cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma. Despite the diagnosis, Dominic remained a happy, carefree, energetic young child, who excelled in school. He attended three schools in his short time here with us: Cesar Chavez in East Palo Alto, California, Westwood Elementary and Colerain Elementary in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dominic received two student of the year awards for Kindergarten and first grade while actively going through Chemo treatments.
Dominic was well on his way to becoming a professional video game player and an avid sports fan. He enjoyed such video games as, GTA5, Call of Duty, Madden, NBA2K, MLB the Show or any sports game in general. His favorite sports teams were NBA Champion Golden State Warriors, who won twice during DJ's life, the San Francisco Giants, three time champs during DJ's life and the Carolina Panthers, who made the Super Bowl during DJ's life. Dominic loved the ladies and the ladies loved him. He would flash them a smile that would melt their hearts. He had an infectious smile with irresistible dimples. Dominic never met a stranger because once you got to know DJ, you fell in love with him. His energy, personality and charm kept everyone at peace with the fight that we all knew he was battling.
On July 5, 2017, in the comfort of his home, Dominic Julian gained his angel wings with his family by his side. Dominic is survived by his beloved parents, James and Angelique Julian; sister, Anya J.
