Donald and I, (Vikki Pogue) were close growing up. We did everything together. He was funny without trying to be. We went to dances, but Donald was not really coordinated, but he tried anyway. He was one of the smartest people I know, but never made others feel inadequate. We had just talked a week ago and said we were going to get together more often. We were closer than cousins, we were like brother and sister. Donald, I love you and miss you. We will see each other again. Your cousin, Vikki.
Donald was well liked and enjoyed life. He loved to travel. He loves to dance and sing. He also attended some concerts and appreciated listening to a wide variety of musical styles. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
He was survived by his father, Marvin Comer; wife, Merry Comer; sons,Wesley (Kaydian) Comer, Matthew (Abby) Comer; daughters, Christine A. Abiera, Christine L. Abiera; his granddaughter, Brinley Comer; aunt, Frillie Easterling, and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.
