Donald E. Romer

Romer, Donald E. age 91, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 29, 1927 to the late William Henry and May Romer (nee Curtis).
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary Fuerbacher. Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Audrey Romer (nee Schultz); cherished father of Don, Sandy (Ron) Heidorn, Ken (Pam), Greg (Sandy), Cindy (Tim) Fuerbacher, and Joe (Karla); 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Donald graduated 1945 from Roger Bacon High School and drafted immediately in the United States Army in 1945. He was a Private First Class Military Policeman until he had honorable discharge in 1947. Donald retired from Procter and Gamble after working 30 plus years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 and Vitas Health Care, 11500 Northlake Drive Suite 400 Cincinnati, OH 45249.
Visitation will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1830 West Galbraith Rd., North College Hill, OH 45239 on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Donald will be laid to rest at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
