Dorothy Ellen Woodruff, age 54 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. She was born in Cincinnati on July 5, 1958 the daughter of Robert and Sarah (Nelson) Powell.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Dubose of Hamilton; two sisters, Connie and her husband Darrell Campbell of Middletown, Ohio and April (Charles Stanton) Powell of Cincinnati; three brothers, Robert Powell and his wife Evelyn of Goshen, Ohio, Roy Powell of Cincinnati and Dennis (Melody Baxter) Powell of Cincinnati; three grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mildred Powell.
Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM.
