Appleton, Edna Mae age 98, of Harrison, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was born in Crosby Township, Ohio on March 26, 1919 to John Homer Schwing and Mae Schwing (nee Bogart).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis James Appleton, her parents, grandson, Tommy Grooms. Edna is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Lou Bouffard; grandchildren, Tara Lynn (Barry) Pash, Christina G. Hackman, Chance Bouffard; great-grandchildren, Danielle Goodman; Justice Pash, Casey Hackman, Emma Hackman, Karlei Bouffard, great-great-granddaughter, Claire Goodman; and a host of other family members and friends.
Edna had a passion for playing cards, she loved animals and also enjoyed bible study.
Services will be held at a later time. In loving memory of Edna, contributions may be made to SPCA Cincinnati 11900 Conrey Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.
