Edward F. Smith

Edward F. 'Smitty' Smith, age 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 19, 1932 to the late Edward W. and Thegla E. Smith. Edward's passion in life was golf. He was a member of the Hamilton County Golf Association and enjoyed playing courses all over the area. Edward often dreamed of winning the lottery on daily basis. He took pride, care and control over his 'course-like' lawn. His family and friends will always laugh at Edward's 'Archie Bunker' sense of humor but with a true heart of gold!

Edward will be deeply missed by his devoted Wife of nearly 60 years, Charlene C. Smith, Daughter, Julie (Jeff) Reed, Son, Mark (Melissa) Smith, Grandchildren; Amanda Reed, Kristin (Chad) Carpenter, Jeffrey Reed, Andrea Smith, Ashleigh Smith, Mason Smith, Matthew Smith, Great-Grandchildren; Aidan Reed, Ariel Reed, Colton Reed, Liam Carpenter, Cohen Reed, Reed Carpenter, and 'baby girl' on the way; and a host of other family members and friends.

In keeping with Edward's wishes, a private family gathering will honor him at a later date.
