Edward Glen Scott

Edward "Glen" Scott, age 88 Years, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was born in Cecilia, Kentucky on May 17, 1933 to Lacy and Iola Scott (nee Browning). Glen was a master gardener and always had time to teach his grandchildren about nature and his garden. He was a longtime member of First Church of Christ in Burlington where he volunteered in many capacities. Glen faithfully served in our Nation's Army and had the honor of serving at Arlington National Cemetery on the Honor Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lacy Scott, mother, Iola Scott, sisters, Oletta Kellogg, Nadene Beck, Elsie Barnes, and step-son, Tommy Krieg.

Glen is survived by his beloved Wife of 41 years, Bonnie Scott (nee Gillenwater); children, Cheryl (Alex) Howard, Ruby (Dave) Bosshammer, Karen Howard, Christa (Tom) Bell, Nick (Tammy) Krieg; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren brother, Oral Scott; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be Monday, December 27, 2021 at 12:00 pm with a visitation from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at First Church of Christ, 6080 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, Kentucky 41005.
