Grosardt, Edward Walter age 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, September 13, 2021. He was born in Mack, Ohio on June 9, 1934 to George L. and Mabel Grosardt (nee Nightingale).

Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Saundra Grosardt (nee Cogliano); children, Debbie (Larry) Valitutto, Belinda (Robert) Sandmann, Kevin (Kim) Grosardt, Jim (Jennifer) Hammock, Crystal (Michael) Chittum, and Tonya R. Hammock; grandchildren (24), Christo (Anna) Valittuto, Tiffany (Marshall) Glenn, Nicholas (Katie) Valitutto, Jennifer (Jeff) Sandmann, Heather Sandmann, Eric Sandmann, Ryan Grosardt, Kyle Grosardt, Christina Grosardt, Ashley Grosardt, Braxton (Danielle) Hammock, Ashley Eason, Alyssa Stoltz, Haven Hammock, Zach Hammock, Caleb Hammock, Aly Gillespie, Austin Chittum, Tamzen Chittum, Dawn (David) Gillespie, Madison Chittum, Alisha (Dave) Hammock, Cody (Caitlin) Hinkle; great-grandchildren (29), Jake, Hailey, Adrianna, Peyton, Isabel, Easton, Madison, Sidney, Austin, Savannah, Nathan, Haileigh, Sofia, Jace, Ayden, Renesmee, Dalton, Brayden, Bailey, Emery, Summer, Dylan, Madison, Gabriella, Finley, Bentley, Gunner, Layla and Harley; sister, Rita Mae Jones; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Edward L. Grosardt and George W Grosardt, grandson, Aaron Massey, siblings, George "Yotz" Grosardt and Arlene Frey, and ex-wives, Mary Ball and Beverly Neumeister.

Edward was an insulator, working over 35 years and retiring from R.E. Kramig, Local 8 International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ed loved the ocean, beach and sun. He loved boating, clamming, fishing, hunting, and building. He was a family man and loved spending time with his grandkids teaching them how to water ski, fish and show them magic tricks. He had an obsession with cars, ships and airplanes. The majority of his time was spend adventuring with his wife in NC and FL. He was on the go all the time, always finding something to get into. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with a service to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
