Edward Robert Watkins Jr.

Watkins Jr., Edward Robert age 62, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020. He was born in Dalton, Georgia on January 18, 1958 to Edward Robert Sr. and Nancy Watkins (nee Miller).

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Flora Roth, Rodney Watkins, and James Watkins. Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Michaela E. Watkins (nee Zupan); his three daughters, Karin (Brian) Young, Sabrina Watkins, and Tara (John Chamberlain) Watkins; his son, Joshua (Christina Withers) Watkins; his grandchildren, Mark Watkins, Paige Tucker, Landin Watkins, Hannah Korte, Collin Watkins, Brooke Tucker, Shawn Inabnitt Watkins, Neveah Withers, Olivia Young, Jasmine Tucker, Noah Young, Mariah Watkins, Jaxon Watkins, Eli Chamberlain, Lydia Chamberlain, and Kaitlyn Tegenkamp; his great-grandson, Trey Brown; his four brothers, Nick (Debbie), Peter (Renee), Tim (Missy) Watkins, David (Angelique) Watkins; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Watkins, Katie Watkins, Bob (Tina) Roth and Barbara (Edmond) DePompei; brothers-in-law, Robert (Amy) Zupan, Roy (Carol) Zupan, Ronald (Ann) Zupan; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Edward donated his body to science for cancer research.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 2 pm until the time of service at 5 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
