Edwina Marion Napier

On August 1, 2024, Edwina Marion Napier of Elsmere, Kentucky, peacefully passed away at the age of 84. Born on August 30, 1939, in Pineville, Kentucky, to Edgar and Mary Johnson (nee Cox), Edwina's journey was one filled with love and passion.

Throughout her life, Edwina found joy in cheering for her favorite sports teams - the UK Wildcats, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds. Her enthusiasm for sports was only matched by her talent for cross stitch. Edwina's faith was an essential part of her life as she actively participated in the Community Pentecostal Church.

In the hearts of those who knew her best, Edwina will forever hold a cherished place. She is reunited in eternity with her father, Edgar Johnson, mother, Mary Johnson, and son, John P Napier. Left to treasure her memory are her beloved spouse of 64  years, Billy Napier; daughter Penny Napier; grandsons Josh Napier and Christopher Napier; as well as a host of other family members and friends.

A final farewell to Edwina will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-North on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 12:00 pm.
