SHORT, Edythe "Bernice" Born in Franklin, Indiana on January 8, 1935 to Emmett and Pearl Duckworth (nee Swango). Passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on March 8, 2015. She was a beloved mother, survived by Denis Noël, Mike Short, Brenda and Chuck Matthews, daughter-in-law Carrie Short, sister Martha Clark, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by James T. Short, Doug Short, Terry Short, Randy Short, and Martha Thompson. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Funeral Ceremony will be at 10:30 am Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the funeral home.
