Eileen Hopkins, age 71 of Cincinnati passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012. She was born in New York City, New York the daughter of Carl Joseph and Madeline (Mang) Ahlgren. Eileen was a veteran of the United States Army serving as nurse. She was a crossword puzzle enthusiast; she cherished her great-nephew Austin West.
She is survived by her sister, Dottie Bielefeld of Cincinnati; her niece Michelle and her husband Wendell West of Cincinnati; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Ted Hopkins.
A memorial service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Cremation will be held. A memorial gathering will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
