Elizabeth Perlina Hood

Elizabeth Perlina "Liz" Hood was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 17th, 1993 to Djuna Hood. She was raised in Evanston, and attended Charter Schools, then graduated from Withrow High School.

She was employed at Kroger since the age of 15 as a "bagger" eventually becoming part of management there. She also attended the University of Cincinnati, where she graduated with a degree in business management. Through her higher education, she continued working at Kroger until her recent maternity leave, when she and the "love of her life", Michael Jones, blessed this world with a beautiful daughter, Amiyah Elizabeth Jones.

"Liz" was loved by many for her kind spirit, and helpful demeanor. She was a peace-keeper when tempers were rising in her presence. She enjoyed traveling with her co-workers, and she believed in living life to its fullest.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Issac W. Hood; uncle, William Hood. Elizabeth is survived by her beloved mother, Djuna Hood; fiance', Michael Jones; daughter, Amiyah E. Hood; grandmothers, Sara E. Hood, Danielle Jones; great-grandmothers, Anne Maud Jones, Patricia Jones; aunts, Sarita Williams, Izella (Jeffrey) Pollard, Shasme' (Anthony) Taylor; cousins, Shonilli, Athena, Samara, Victor, Valerie, Dana, Jeffrey, Jr; best friends, Robin, Amber, Brittney P, Brittney K, Latoya and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 22, 2020 with a visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at United House of Prayer for All People, 1860 Clarion Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45207. Burial to follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
